Update to ISO 9001:2000
Are you presently accredited to ISO 9002 1994? Almost certainly “Yes”, if you trade with Local Authorities and other major players. Time is marching on for you to update to ISO 9001:2000, which is much improved being “Process based” and requiring mandatory “Continuous improvement” and “Proactive seeking of Customer satisfaction”.
The “Update” requires specialised knowledge but can be undertaken with no upset to existing routines or loss of production. For SMEs in the Service Industry we offer a 3 day course conducted as 6 half day sessions, one every other week, so it is spread over 3 months. That ensures that we leave the senior staff time for the other “three hats” that you wear, and we do not kill the goose that lays the golden egg”.
This is not a “shrink wrapped ready to go package”. An experienced Consultant will attend at your site and teach both the theory and practice of ISO 9001:2000, and establish your comprehension by written and practical tests. This concentrated course is based on the assumption that you are already committed to ISO 9002 1994 with controlled documents and internal audits etc. However if you have let things slip since you were first accredited then we should be able to get you back up to speed with an extra two half day visits.
